While initially magicless, she resonated so strongly with the morals of Pomefiore she was determined to secure herself a place as a member of the dorm.
Background
While top of her classes during early school life, she quickly fell behind as she got into high school. The pressure of trying to catch up, combined with the frequent bullying from their classmates, ended with her isolating herself with her studies.
She trained as a medical professional before coming to Twisted Wonderland. Overcome with guilt from losing a patient, she prayed and pleaded for any way to bring this patient back, convinced she simply hadn't worked hard enough. Her prayers were heard, taking her into Twisted Wonderland, presumably leaving her dead in the real world.Initially she had no magical ability but bribed Crowley to allow her into Pomefiore with the promise of doing work around campus for free until her magic had developed.- Her unique magic is "Witch's Voice" (in reference to my original inspiration for her, Vanessa from The Little Mermaid) and allows her to temporarily take someone's voice, therefore stopping them from casting magic. The stronger the sorcerer, the more difficult it is for her to use this magic without a severe strain on her body. She didn't develop her UM until late into her second year.
